APPROACH TO TREATMENT

Dr. Lung brings a thoughtful and integrative approach to psychological care, drawing on decades of clinical experience working with individuals across different stages of life. While her early work was grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), her practice has evolved to incorporate a flexible integration of evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of each client. Her approach focuses on deepening insight, improving emotional regulation, and helping clients develop practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges. When clinically appropriate, she may also incorporate psychodynamic perspectives to help clients explore underlying psychological processes and increase awareness of patterns that influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviour. Dr. Lung aims to create a respectful and supportive environment where clients can safely explore their experiences, build understanding, and develop meaningful pathways toward change.
