Insurance and payment

Insurance and OHIP

Our services are not covered by OHIP. Many extended health and benefits plans cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker. Check with your plan before your first session: what is covered, how to claim, what your receipt needs to show, and whether a physician's referral is required.

Payment and receipts

Fees are paid at the end of each session by e-transfer or credit card. You receive a receipt every time; keep it for insurance claims and for the medical expense deduction on your income tax.

Sliding scale

A sliding scale is available if you need it. Sessions with our supervised graduate interns are also offered at lower rates.

WSIB

We are an approved provider in the WSIB Community Mental Health Program. If your care is part of a WSIB claim, let us know when you contact us.

Direct billing

Details about direct billing to your insurer are coming soon.
